Please note: We will be parking at Mt. Bachelor and dogsledding into Elk Lake Resort, as well as a taking a snowcat back to the parking lot on Sunday.
Itinerary February 2nd-4th, 2018
Arrive at Mt. Bachelor and make your way to the lower Sunrise Lodge parking area where we will be meeting. Check in time is TBD but will be in between 1-4pm. If flying in, we recommend flying into Portland International Airport or Redmond Airport
We will then meet our team of dogs who will be transporting us to Elk Lake Resort. Yes you read that right, we will be dog sledding into our accommodations for the weekend!
Once arrived at the cabin at Elk Lake Resort, you will settle into your room, meet your roommates and pin on your custom made name tag. The early evening is yours to enjoy, mingling with the other women and enjoying the surrounding area.
Introductions will be made around 7:30pm and we will chat about what our adventure looks like. Dinner will be served. The night will cap off with great conversations, laughs and a good night’s sleep.
Breakfast is continental style where a variety of cereals, oatmeal, bagels and toast are offered.
After breakfast we will head out to enjoy the day! This is a choose your own adventure day. Whether you want to snowshoe some of the hundreds of miles of trails, build a snowman, read a book in the cabin or mingle with the other awesome ladies.
After a full day of exploring we will gather back in the cabin where dinner will be served. After dinner it’s time to recap our day, share stories and plenty of laughs.
Breakfast will be a repeat of yesterday with plenty of coffee to go around. Check out is 10am from the cabin.
We will all be transported via Snowcat back to the parking lot at Mt. Bachelor.
Although we have no planned activities for you today, there is so much to do in Central Oregon. Hit the slopes at Mt. Bachelor, snowshoe or ski at one of the snoparks, visit the Sage Spa for a massage, etc. If you need any help planning your day, let us know.
