Review: Mountain Standard Women’s Down Jacket

Written by SuzanneK

I recently made my first Mountain Standard purchase and I can say that I am not disappointed! I bought the women’s down jacket in maroon. This coat is beautiful as an insulation layer. It’s a 700 fill goose down hooded jacket. I wore it on our hike recently to Artist Point where temperatures that day were probably around 15 degrees. I brought my ski jacket with me as a precaution to put over if I was too cold, but this jacket was incredible. Since there was no wind that day I was actually hot as we snowshoed!

The jacket fits great, too! I ordered an XS and it is perfect and I feel like there is still room to spare underneath. In addition to the great quality, this jacket was a steal! Originally $248.00, it is on sale right now for $159.00!! I’m half tempted to purchase it in another color! Buy it here!

If you are looking for an insulated layer I highly recommend this jacket. mountain-standard
