Review: New Primal Jerky and Meat Sticks

Written by L & J

Seriously who doesn’t love to snack on jerky, especially halfway up a mountain when you need an extra boost in energy. It’s one of my favorite things to carry in my pockets when I am hiking, skiing, cycling, etc. But the thing I dislike about jerky is having to take off my mitts to dive my hand into the bag.

I set out to look for an alternative and happily I came across the company The New Primal. What first made them stick out was there beefy like sticks, that didn’t require any mitts off bag diving with my hands. The second thing that stuck out, and even more important is that there full product line is made from sustainably sourced ingredients and proteins, naturally raised without the use of antibiotics or added hormones. As an added bonus the Jerky, Meat Sticks, Snack Mates and Marinades are all certified gluten-free, paleo-friendly, artisanal quality, and minimally processed.

And wait for it, they taste delicious! With flavours such as cilantro lime, Habanero pineapple, uncured bacon and more, there is no shortage of variety of meat sticks. Remember those really salty meat sticks you had as a kid? These trump those 100 times over.

The jerky, on point. The meat sticks, delicious. And the best part, none of the added crap that many other food companies add to their products. Try it, buy it and love it here.
