Waterton Lakes National Park Feb 23-25, 2018

Wintertime in Waterton is a magical season, where wildlife roam freely and the snow covers every inch of the ground. This weekend is designed for you to celebrate winter, whether you are building a snowman, snowshoeing up Bear’s Hump or setting cross country tracks across the lake. Perhaps you want to curl up beside a fire, read a book and watch as the snow falls outside.

Itinerary February 23rd-25th, 2018

Day One

Arrive at Waterton Lakes Lodge, located inside Waterton Lakes National Park between 5pm-6pm. If flying in, we recommend flying into Calgary International Airport and renting a car as the hotel is not located on a public transit route.

Once arrived, you will settle into your room, meet your roommate (if you have one) and pin on your custom made name tag. The early evening is yours to enjoy, mingling with the other women and enjoying the park.

Introductions will be made around 7pm and we will chat about what our adventure looks like. Dinner will be served buffet style at the restaurant inside the hotel. The night will cap off with great conversations, laughs and a good night’s sleep.

Day Two

Breakfast is continental style where a variety of cereals, oatmeal, bagels and toast are offered in the restaurant of the lobby.

After breakfast you will pack your own bagged lunch and we will head out for the day. The day is truly yours to choose what you want to do. Perhaps you want to snowshoe up Bear’s Hump for an epic view of the lake and townsite. Maybe you want to cross country ski the trails. Perhaps you even want to take a nap! Think snowman making, hot chocolate, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and more.

Dinner will be served buffet style in the hotel restaurant. After dinner it’s time to relax, rejuvenate, stare at the stars and listen to some live music in the lounge.

Day Three

Breakfast will be a repeat of yesterday with plenty of coffee to go around (or tea if you prefer). Check out is at 10am sharp and we ask that all belongings are taken out of the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore. We hope by now you have made some lifelong friendships and will continue your explorations together.
