Hailey Mawer

Hailey Mawer

Just a girl with a wondering soul and an adventurous spirit on a never ending quest for wanderlust.

I am an avid hiker, backpacker and explorer from Alberta, always searching for my next adventure. A once Work-a-holic, now turned Wanderer: I believe that every opportunity you get to explore is a chance for self-discovery and is a constant reminder that we are always learning; to adapt, to overcome challenges, the importance of self-worth.

Every exploration leaves me with a surreal sense of accomplishment and purpose, and reveals the beauty of places very few get to experience.

Kris King

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t love the outdoors. Growing up in the suburbs of Portland, OR I was exposed to fishing, hiking, kayaking, playing in the ocean and exploring the nearby Mt. Hood. When I moved to Leavenworth, WA after college the outdoor world seemed to grow exponentially before my very eyes. For 2 years I worked for a nonprofit guiding ministry taking NW Youth backpacking/hiking, white water rafting, and climbing. I currently live in one of the forested valleys that surrounds Mt. Rainier working as a full time snowboard instructor at Crystal Mountain. I continue to find joy in simply getting out and doing the things I love; among those things are writing, photography, and introducing others to the world of outdoor recreation.

Danielle Wieland

Living in Colorado my whole life has made me passionate about adventure and being outdoors. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in Summit County skiing, hiking, and backpacking with my parents. My freshman year of college at CU Boulder, I climbed my first 14er and discovered the depth of my passion for being in the mountains. Ever since then, I’ve kept part of my focus constantly on adventure, whether I’m learning a new skill or planning the next time I’ll be able to get to the mountains. I also adore traveling and planning trips. I love discovering new cultures, go on road trips whenever I can, and am currently planning a few different backpacking trips abroad. I’m always looking for new experiences and opportunities!
