Australia Adventure
August 9-17, 2027
A trip full of coast, wine, wildlife & adventure
This adventure is rated 3 out of 5 difficulty level. Moderate level activities (i.e. short to medium hikes up to 5 miles, some elevation, intro to new skill/activity that is guided by 3rd party like mountain biking, climbing, rafting, etc.). Activities are included, but optional if outside of your comfort zone.
** From our guide - The treks are quite easy, approximately 3 or 4 hours walking, and suitable for most abilities. There is one longer trek that take 5 to 6 hours walking with a light bag on easy terrain. The excursion on ice with crampons will be guided by a mountain guide, and is also suitable for anyone physically active and with an adventurous attitude. For the kayak optional excursion, previous experience in kayaking is not required.
ITINERARY
-
G’Day and welcome to Sydney, one of Australia’s most iconic cities and the starting point for your exclusive Australian adventure.
Arrive at your leisure and settle into your hotel. Take some time to relax or explore your surroundings at your own pace.
Welcome dinner at a classic Aussie pub.
Meals included: Dinner (it says possible to include, need to verify this)
-
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for the day.
We’re heading out for a half-day guided tour of Sydney. We’ll take in the iconic highlights including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and vibrant city streets.
Bondi Beach is next on the list and you’ll have free time to grab lunch, soak up some sun or join an optional surf lesson! (assuming this is close? transportation included or is it walking distance from hotel?)
Meals included: Breakfast (is lunch just while we’re out or is it organized, but guests have to pay?)
-
We’re leaving Sydney for the day and heading to the Hunter Valley, one of Australia’s premier wine regions.
On our private wine tour we’ll enjoy tastings at boutique wineries, try some local spirits and other gourmet treats along the way.
We will return to Sydney by later afternoon.
Explore the city and enjoy dinner out on the town!
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch
-
Today’s a travel day! There’s a group transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight to Brisbane.
Upon arrival, you’ll have a transfer to your hotel where you’ll get settled in. (are all airport transfers private? the first said private and then the others did not specify…)
Next we’re headed out on a guided tour of the city, featuring a local funky cafe and brewery. (is the funky cafe/brewery included on the tour and is that where they have lunch?)
Optional visit to Lone pine koala sanctuary or story bridge climb if time allows. I think both of these sound better than another city tour…
Meals included: Breakfast
-
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Brisbane at your own pace.
Late morning, we’ll depart Brisbane and head to Noosa, a coastal paradise on the Sunshine Coast.
You’ll have a relaxed afternoon exploring Noosa at your own pace. Stroll the coastal boardwalk, dip into hidden coves in Noosa National Park or just simply chill at the beach!
(kind of a free day so are lunch and dinner within walking distance?)
Meals included: Breakfast
-
This says breakfast not included due to very early start since cafes aren’t open… so where do guests get breakfast?
Today is packed FULL of adventure! We’re taking a 4WD discovery tour on K’Gari, formerly known as Fraser Island. This gigantic World Heritage listed sand bar measuring 120km in length is the world’s biggest sand island with a diverse ecology. A place unlike any other location on earth, with rainforest and freshwater lakes, dunes, dingoes, whales, dolphins and turtles offshore will deliver a day of unforgettable adventure. (Is lunch like a packed lunch or is there a restaurants? What time are they back to hotel… I’m assuming in Noosa?)
Meals included: Lunch
-
We’re saying goodbye to Noosa today and heading to Brisbane Airport for our flight to the Whitsundays.
When we land, we’ll transfer by bus (private?) to Airlie Beach and then catch the ferry to Daydream Island, your home for the next 3 nights. (how long is the ferry ride? Is there shopping/restaurants on daydream?)
It’s been a travel day so once we arrive, relax! The rest of the night is yours! (will there be a lunch stop and what is the dinner restaurant situation like?)
Meals included: Breakfast
-
Breakfast at the hotel.
Let’s discover the Whitsunday Islands today with a full jetboat adventure, including the picture-perfect Whitehaven Beach. This is the only beach in the Whitsundays (74 islands) that has the soft sand made from quartz.
This is a full day of boating, snorkeling, marine life and beach fun! (lunch details since it’s included)
are there dinner options on the island? Just at the hotel?
Meals included: Breakfast and lunch
-
Today is a relaxed day on the aptly named Daydream Island.
After breakfast, enjoy the island’s pools, walking trails and beaches. This island has a 200 meter outdoor coral lagoon, wrapping around the resort.
can we snorkel in the coral? It says get upclose to wildlife, but can people just swim out there or do they need a guided tour? Can people rent snorkel gear?
Meals included: Breakfast
-
We have another travel day today!
We’ll depart Airlie Beach early for an 8-hour road trip to Cairns with plenty of convenience stops along the way. (i’m assuming this is a bus? is it private?)
Once in Cairns, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through town to stretch our legs and soak in the tropical atmosphere.
The rest of the day is at your leisure. (what time are we arriving? it says convenience stops, will there be a lunch stop? any sightseeing along the way other than out the window?)
(im assuming dinner restaurants are within easy walking distance?)
Meals included: Breakfast
-
After breakfast, we’ll travel north along one of the most beautiful coastal routes and visit Mossman Gorge, the entrance to the most southern part of the Daintree National Park.
This park is the oldest rainforest in the world and its ecosystem is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We’ll take a rainforest walk at the gorge with an indigenous guide. We’ll learn about the local Kuku Yalanji legends and ancient stories.
Lunch will be at a local cafe or pub, before heading to the Daintree River, where we’ll take a boat cruise.
After our cruise, we’ll stop for a visit in the charming Port Douglas before returning to Cairns. (is dinner in port douglas or Cairns?)
Meals included: Breakfast
-
Today is a special one… we get to explore one of the eight wonders of the world, the Great Barrier Reef, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We’ll depart early in the morning and cruise to the reef on a modern catamaran. During the day we’ll explore two reef sites on the Outer Barrier Reef while snorkeling.
Lunch will be prepared by the crew and enjoyed on the boat.
After a full day, we’ll return back to Cairns in time for happy hour.
Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.
(this is for all the tours that aren’t private, including this one, how many people are on these guided tours with our guests?)
-
It’s a free day in Cairns! We have plenty of options for you to explore!
You can take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens and Centenary Lakes, relax by the pool or stroll along the Esplanade.
If you’re looking for activities to book, you might choose a helicopter flight over the reef, a trip to Kuranda on the historic Kuranda Train and Skyrail Cableway or a full day nature and waterfalls tour to the Cairns Highlands.
More adrenaline? Go whitewater rafting on the Tully, skydive or head out to Australia’s only bungy tower!
We’ll meet tonight for our farewell dinner.
Meals included: Breakfast and dinner.

We’ll take a transfer to Cairns Airport for the onward journey home. (need to look at the flight routes to see recommended airports to fly home from)

Greenland is the wildest country in the northern hemisphere, infrastructures are almost non-existent and logistics pose enormous challenges.
That is the reason why your local guide MAY NOT follow this daily itinerary exactly as planned. All activities are subject to change in order to adapt the journey to the weather conditions, sea conditions, or technical and organizational difficulties, and it therefore requires flexibility in the traveller.
Some activities can be cancelled because of weather or ice conditions as locals say “The weather is Boss in Greenland”.
As a result, by signing up for this trip, the guest is aware that unexpected expenses as a result of weather conditions (including difficulties or cancellations due to ice or weather conditions) or flight or boat delays are not included in the price and may become the responsibility of the guest while traveling on the trip.
