Our travel insurance requirements
We require that all participants provide proof of travel protection with emergency evacuation and repatriation coverage of at least $100,000 USD to participate in our trips. Medical coverage is a minimum $50,000. You may purchase this coverage from the provider of your choice. If an Operator requires travel insurance with other coverage minimums, you will be advised at least 60 days prior to departure.
Some Getaways may require additional coverage depending on the activities and location. We can make recommendations, but it is up to each individual guest to ensure they have complete coverage. You can read more in our Terms of Service.
We highly recommend purchasing your travel insurance within 15 days of booking your trip with us. Most insurance companies require insurance to be purchased within a certain amount of days to fully cover the trip should any issues arise. Waiting until last minute might mean that should you need to cancel, your trip might not be covered.
