ITINERARY

Arrive at the Ruđer Bošković Airport in Dubrovnik, Croatia (DBV) by 1 pm today.
A group transfer will be provided to your beachside hotel where you can check in, relax and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Enjoy tonight with your fellow travelers as you get to know each other over dinner.

Enjoy breakfast before packing up and checking out.
A 2.5 hour drive takes us across the border and officially into Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first activity today is a 5 mile canoe tour down the Trebižat River. Enjoy swim breaks and a traditional lunch along the way.
Visit Kravica waterfall with free time to explore, enjoy a boat ride or take a dip.
A short drive takes you to Počitelj, a Medieval stone town where we will take a short hike up to the fortress for a view.
Relax for the last hour of our drive as we make our way to Mostar to check in to our hotel for the night.
The rest of the evening is yours to relax and enjoy dinner at leisure.

After a 1 hour drive, arrive at the picturesque village of Stolac. Explore its old town known for its stone bridges, water mills on the Bregaba river and Provalije waterfall.
Visit the Mehmedbasic House, a traditional Ottoman era home, to learn how to make a traditional Bosnian fig cake.
Relax on a 40 minute drive takes to Blagaj village to visit the oldest Tekki-Dervish House in Bosnia and the largest river spring in Europe - Buna Spring.
Short drive back to Mostar to enjoy a city tour of the Old Bridge, Crooked Bridge and Old Bazaar.
Free time to explore Mostar and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Visit Fortica site at sunset for a beautiful view of the city and surrounding mountains (optional)
Experience the longest zip line in Bosnia - add-on activity at Fortica site. (~30 Euro, pay on site).

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before hitting the road for today’s adventure.
After a two hour drive, arrive at the nearby Cincar mountains where more than 700 wild horses gallop freely. From here take an all-terrain vehicle for an off-road experience to Drulj lookout point, pass by the famous 100+ year old Livanjski cheese factories, and visit the Bistrica River and Old Bridge on Duman.
Stop to savor a traditional lunch of local dishes including homemade pies, goulash and barbecue will be enjoyed along with homemade wine, brandies, natural juices, beer, etc.
Return to Mostar to enjoy the late afternoon and evening to explore the city at your leisure.

Enjoy breakfast before packing up and checking out today. Next up is a full day of adventure!
Drive 1.5 hours to arrive at the Neretva River, renewed for its crystal clear turquoise waters and dramatic canyons.
Gear up for a 16 mile rafting trip with an experienced guide where you’ll encounter class II-IV rapids, enjoy a waterfall shower and jump from natural cliffs. Duration is approximately 6 hours.
A local Bosnian barbecue is provided for lunch on the river.

Wake up in the mountains and enjoy breakfast. Then grab your hiking pack, today is another adventure!
Hop in a 4×4 off-road vehicle to visit Umoljani village, our stating point for a day hike to Lukomir, Bosnia’s highest and most isolated village. There trek take approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
Enjoy lunch in Lukimor.
Relax on the drive back to Konjic where you will have the rest of the afternoon to relax by the pool or explore the city. Enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Finish your night by the fire sharing stories of past travels with your fellow adventures as the stars light up the sky.

Our final stop on this trip is Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Get acquainted with the city on a guided walking tour to visit the Latin Bridge, Brusa Bezistan, Husref Bey Mosque, Sacred Heat Cathedral, and more.
Enjoy lunch at your leisure.

If you are up for an adventure, then we have one in store for you - test your skills on a Via Ferrata. The adventure is challenging and takes 3-4 hours to complete. It is not recommend for those with a fear of heights.

Begin the morning with a guided walking tour of the Bosna River SpringsPark to enjoy this natural beauty and the botanical-horticulture phenomenon.
Visit the Tunnel of Hope and museum to learn about the Siege of Sarajevo that occurred in 1992-1995.
Enjoy lunch at your leisure.
Enjoy a final adventure to the top of Mount Trebevic to enjoy the views overlooking the capital city.

This trip requires a minimum number of women to register in order for it to be confirmed. Once the trip reaches the minimum participant number, you will receive a trip confirmation email and a link to be added a private Facebook group just for trip guests. In this group further trip details will be provided along with pre-travel support. Please let us know if you do not have or use Facebook (see contact information below).

Once a trip has been confirmed (no matter the booking or trip timeline), the deposit is both non-refundable and non-transferable. Travel (and medical) insurance is required for anyone traveling on a Women Who Explore adventure. Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. Your insurance policy should also include specific Covid-19 cover, including cancellation and curtailment cover if you or a close relative are diagnosed with Covid-19.
