This adventure is rated 2 out of 5 difficulty level. Moderate level activities (i.e. short to medium hikes up to 5 miles, some elevation, intro to new skill/activity that is guided by 3rd party like mountain biking, climbing, rafting, etc.). Activities are included, but optional if outside of your comfort zone.
Come join us in Costa Rica! We are heading to one of the most biodiverse areas in the world, Manuel Antonio. Resting on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this magical place offers a brilliant combination of rainforest, beaches, epic sunsets, wildlife and nature leaving you with an experience you'll never forget!
This adventure has a little bit of it all! From chasing waterfalls to guided nature hikes to sunset cruises and more this week long adventure is the perfect combination of fun and relaxation that will have you saying PURA VIDA!












ITINERARY

Welcome to Costa Rica! Arrive at the Juan Santamaría Airport (SJO) for a 12 p.m. pick up. There will be one group transfer provided from the airport to Manuel Antonio.
Stop for snacks and cold drinks to enjoy on your 3+ hour scenic drive down the Pacific Coast.
Arrive to your Airbnb nestled in the jungle and settle in, take a dip in the pool, or try to spotting wildlife from the wrap around balcony.
Enjoy a 4-course welcome dinner prepared and served by a private chef.

Wake up to the sounds or the jungle and enjoy a traditional Costa Rican breakfast and coffee.
Visit Manuel Antonio National Park on a guided tour with a trained bilingual wildlife expert. After enjoy free time at Playa Manuel Antonio, inside the national park.
Lunch at your leisure.

Wake up to the sounds or the jungle and enjoy a traditional Costa Rican breakfast and coffee.
Today is a choose your own adventure day. Relax with a massage, soak up the sun at the beach, try a surfing lesson, or sign up for another adventure.
Optional white water rafting trip down the Savegre River. The rapids are class II-III and the tour last around 6 hours. You’ll enjoy stunning landscapes, waterfalls and finish with a typical Costa Rican lunch.

Enjoy an early breakfast and the jungle views around you.
Enjoy a 1.5 hour drive down the Pan-American Highway before hopping into a 4×4 jeep for a short ride to Nauyaca waterfall. Here we will have a couple hours to swim, explore and relax.
Stop for lunch in Domincial along with some free time to walk along the beach or explore the artisan shops.
Return to Manuel Antonio where the rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast.
Spend the morning as you wish - lounge on the beach with a book, relax with a massage or join the optional chocolate and coffee tour.
Optional: Chocolate & Coffee Tour - visit a local farm to learn about the cultural and biological background of cacao, coffee, and sugarcane.
Playa Espadilla Beach Party - meet around 1:30 p.m. at the house. We will make our way to the main beach for an afternoon of playing in the waves, surfing, paragliding and more. Beach chairs and umbrella service are provided. We will enjoy dinner and sunset on the beach tonight.

Wake up and savor a delicious breakfast while you enjoy the sounds of the birds.
Enjoy free time this morning to take a walk on the beach, get an in house massage, shop or explore the nearby nature park.
Meet back at the house around 12:30 p.m. and together we will head to the marina for an afternoon cruising the coast, snorkeling, and a sunset dinner.

One private group transfer back to the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) will be provided. Plan to arrive to the airport around 12 p.m.

If you are traveling solo, you will be assigned a roommate upon request. Rooms are assigned on a first come basis.

This trip requires a minimum number of women to register in order for it to be confirmed. Once the trip reaches the minimum participant number, you will receive a trip confirmation email and a link to be added a private Facebook group just for trip guests. In this group further trip details will be provided along with pre-travel support. Please let us know if you do not have or use Facebook (see contact information below).

All deposits are non-refundable at the time of booking, but may be transferable if done so within the timeframe outlined in the Terms of Service. Please make sure you are purchasing adequate travel insurance at the time of booking to ensure you are covered in case you need to cancel.

Travel (and medical) insurance is required for anyone traveling on a Women Who Explore adventure. Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. Your insurance policy should also include specific Covid-19 cover, including cancellation and curtailment cover if you or a close relative are diagnosed with Covid-19.
