This adventure is rated 2 out of 5 difficulty level. Moderate level activities (i.e. short to medium hikes up to 5 miles, some elevation, intro to new skill/activity that is guided by 3rd party like mountain biking, climbing, rafting, etc.). Activities are included, but optional if outside of your comfort zone.

** From our guide - The treks are quite easy, approximately 3 or 4 hours walking, and suitable for most abilities. There is one longer trek that take 5 to 6 hours walking with a light bag on easy terrain. The excursion on ice with crampons will be guided by a mountain guide, and is also suitable for anyone physically active and with an adventurous attitude. For the kayak optional excursion, previous experience in kayaking is not required.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS WHEN BOOKING THIS TRIP:

(1) There is a booking deadline for this trip which is February 10th, 2027. Our local guide requires that all guests are confirmed for private tours six months prior to the start date of the tour. Guest registrations after this date will be subject to availability.

(2) Due to the nature of tourism in Greenland, our local guide is unable to confirm exact dates and pricing until November 2026. We do not anticipate any significant changes to the trip dates or pricing, however, please note that they are subject to change (ever so slightly) based on the date this trip is confirmed and the guide’s ability to secure accommodations when they become available. For this reason, we ask that you book this trip having some flexibility in mind.

(3) As a result of the guide’s confirmation policy, a special cancellation policy applies. This trip is 100% nonrefundable and nontransferable once the trip is confirmed.

This adventure is rated 3 out of 5 and is designed for active women who enjoy spending time outdoors. Most hikes range from 3–5 hours at a relaxed pace over uneven tundra terrain. No previous hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, or glacier experience is required. The glacier walk is fully guided and suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness and an adventurous spirit. Travelers should be comfortable walking several miles per day, carrying a small daypack, and embracing the unpredictable nature of Arctic weather.
