Mallorca Tramuntana
September 25 -October 4, 2026
hiking & the MEDITERRANEAN!
This adventure is rated 3 out of 5 difficulty level. Moderate level activities. Day hikes range from 5+ to 10 miles each day with elevation gain and loss of up to 2,500+/- each day.
This trip is suitable for hill walkers, the daily hikes take place on marked trails, but these are often very rocky. The elevation gains and losses, as well as the distances, are moderate, but the terrain means that progress may be slower due to the challenges. The hikes can be adapted to the level of the group and for most stops, the group will stay 2 days at each accommodation instead of hiking from hut to hut as done on a regular trek. At this time, it is important to take in account that weather can be quite variable as Mallorca is an island and in spring or autumn you may experience all 3 seasons in one day!
Discover the wild, soulful side of Mallorca on this 10-day women’s trekking journey through the UNESCO-listed Tramuntana Mountains. Following ancient smugglers’ trails, cobbled pilgrimage routes, and historic bridle paths, we hike through a living landscape shaped by dry-stone walls, terraced hillsides, and centuries-old farms. Each day reveals striking contrasts—mountains plunging into the sea, quiet meadows, and crystalline coves perfect for a post-hike swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
Based in charming coastal villages and historic sites, the route blends rewarding hikes with cultural gems: Valldemossa and Deià, the Sóller old town, the dramatic Biniaraix Gorge, Lluc Monastery, the Alcúdia Peninsula, and the stunning Formentor coast. With time to swim, explore, and savor island life, this supportive, women-only trek is an unforgettable mix of nature, culture, and connection—Mallorca at its most authentic.
