Montana Campout

June 19-22, 2026

Summer camp for the Women Who Explore Community!

JOIN US!

Our first ever Summer Solstice Campout was a HUGE success, despite having unseasonably wet weather (first time it’s rained on this weekend in 20 years). We had such an amazing time, that we booked Tobacco River Ranch for Summer Solstice weekend 2026 before we were even finished packing up after the event was over.

Here’s what you can expect next year: Same quality of classes, including Fly Fishing with McKenna, a few local Montana instructors, Tanya will be back with her delicious meals, Summer Solstice Ceremony/Bonfire paired with informational classes about the ceremony the day before, more fun brand partners to test out, lots of goodies and swag, more time to hang out and get to know other rad women attending. And absolutely under no circumstances will there be even a drop of rain, and we’ll have perfect weather for floating the river and dancing outside (ok we can’t promise this, but we’re working on manifesting this last part).

Whether you attended last year or if this will be your first Summer Solstice Campout, there will something new, exciting, and fulfilling for everyone!

BOOK YOUR SPOT!

LOCATION: TOBACCO RIVER RANCH

EUREKA, MONTANA - We’re coming back!

Welcome to big sky country! We chose the location of Tobacco River Ranch to host our first ever Summer Camp for a few reasons. First, it’s gorgeous. The photos don’t even really do it justice! Second, we really hit it off with the owners, Nikki and Karl, after the first phone call. Karl has always dreamed of hosting an event on his property that supports women. Nikki will also be leading our Summer Solstice Celebration for us. Third, this area of Montana is packed full of adventure and epic landscapes, but is still has a quiet charm. This property even connects to Rails to Trails. Last, this location met just about all of our requirements: 1.5 hours or less from an international airport, cabin and camping options, ability to book entire property, space to hold simultaneous classes, stunning landscapes, easy access to outdoor spaces to explore, water.

We had more requirements, but we won’t bore you with the details! Needless to say, this property is amazing and we can’t wait to share this experience with all of you. While visiting Tobacco River Ranch you should know that this is an actual working ranch complete with all the equipment and animals. The owners are working hard to restore their section of the Tobacco River to its original state so be mindful of wild plant life. They also ask that events are as plastic/waste free as possible! We’ll have more details on that below, but it’s just another reason why we love this property.

About Eureka

Eureka is located on Highway 93, a scenic one hour drive north from Whitefish/Kalispell. Eureka is the perfect postcard for the rural Montana lifestyle. The small downtown has a handful of restaurants and stores filled with friendly faces and lots of summer time events - from the weekly farmers market, to the Amish auction, to Rendezvous Days parades, The Quilt Show, County Fair and Bull Thing, there's great activities for all ages. And we're walking/biking distance to the Historical Village, downtown Eureka, and the County Fairgrounds - but far enough away from the roads that you won't see or hear them!

SLEEPING OPTIONS

We have a mixture of cabins, pre-setup tents, bring your own tents, and van/car/trailer camping. All our pre-setup tents are provided by DOD Outdoors!

    • Your first option is to bring all your own gear! For this option, this means you bring your own tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, chair and all other camp gear needed for this weekend. All your gear must fit within a 10x10ft designated spot. Please note you are able to have your own cooler for drinks and basic snacks, but cooking is not allowed. All meals will be provided.

    • For this option, you will have an area to park your vehicle that you are sleeping in.

    • Purchasing this spot includes space for one person in a van or vehicle with a maximum length of 25 feet or less. This can include regular passenger vehicles, vans, rooftop tents, trailers, or RVs. This is dry camping. Water, electricity, and dumping is not available or included in this site. There is access to water and electricity in the community spaces.

    • If you are sharing a van/vehicle with a friend for the camp out, as their travel companion you would also choose this option for your booking and indicate who you are sharing with at booking.

    • This option is for those of you that want the camping experience, but maybe can’t travel with all the gear or just don’t want the hassle of setting up! Our friends at DoD Outdoors have provided some amazing tents for us to utilize which will be set up at a camp near the river.

    • Each tent is single occupancy and will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Tents include a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and camp chair. Please note that the camp is situated next to the river and you will need to walk up hill to the community space and events. There will be a drop off and pick up available during the check in and check out process and a wagon available to help haul your personal stuff to and from camp.

    • This area does not have electricity and does not have private bathroom facilities. Bathroom facilities will be shared. Shared coolers and storage space available at camp.

    • We have 6 different options for fully furnished accommodations that include a glamping tent, a vintage airstream, and 4 primitive cabins (only 1 includes electricity). None of the cabins have their own bathroom facilities. Each cabin comes with 1 hot shower token per occupant to use during the weekend.

    • Please read through the descriptions carefully before booking. Reserving a cabin is for ONE guest only. For shared occupancy with a friend or another guest, they must book separately. See below dropdown for more details on each cabin.

  • Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! The Belle tent sits up on a knoll surrounded by trees and rock formations overlooking the Tobacco River. A shady patio, a hammock, and a comfortable queen bed along with two twin beds make this an ideal glamping quarters!

This is a shared space with one queen bed and two twin beds. When you register for this space, you are purchasing one spot in the tent which will be shared with two other guests. The beds will be assigned on a first come basis. Please note that the tent is situated up on a hill with uneven terrain. You'll trade a very short steepish uphill walk for beautiful vistas and more privacy. There will be a wagon available to help haul your stuff up.

This unit does not have electricity and does not have private bathroom facilities. Bathroom facilities will be shared. Your reservation does include bedding, towels, and one hot shower per occupant in the cabin during the weekend.

The owner asks you to remove shoes in this unit, ...the location makes this one harder to keep clean...and they are Virgos, so they have high standards and the struggle is real! =)

  • The Globetrotter is a restored 1960's Airstream with a comfortable full size bed with an additional fold out bed for a child. This unit is located in the VIP River Glamp Camp area near the river, tucked into trees for shade, you can watch wildlife and stargaze from the comfort and seclusion of your own camper.

  • Built in 2022, this brand new tiny A-frame cabin is next-level for an indoor/outdoor camping experience. The side wall opens up to the sitting area which includes a hammock, and this unit is RIGHT next to the Tobacco River. Be lulled to sleep with the beautiful sound of the flowing river and birds that love this area. This cabin is located in front of the VIP Glamping area.

Please note this cabin is located on a hill, a "small" hill, but it is a 50 foot walk up to the cabin. A wagon will be provided to haul your belongings to the cabin.

Corn hole, giant jenga and other lawn games are available in the main camp area!

  • Our evening starts with a Summer Solstice Circle + Ceremony + Bonfire

We will gather in circle (in communion with people all over the world) in an ancient tradition to celebrate the longest day of the year, and a return to the light, with a four elements invocation and bonfire at the river.

Together, we will honor our own cycles of growth and seeds we wish to plant as the sun sets on the solstice.

Bring something small/personal from your altar representing any of the four elements, or find them at the ranch.  (Suggestions:  AIR=feather or lichen ~ FIRE=candle ~ WATER=a small vial from a creek near your home, or from the Tobacco River ~ EARTH=a special rock, seed, dirt, etc.) We will provide some representations of the elements, for those that might not have them or forget them!

Bring one intention that you’ll do to improve your life (seeds we are planting), and one habit or challenge that no longer serves you. Write the later on a piece of paper destined for the fire.

It’s another packed day! You can choose to take classes, or just hang out around camp or float the river. Don’t forget, there’s a section of Rails to Trails within walking distance of the ranch that takes you right into the town of Eureka!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will again be provided by the incredible Tanya! As soon as we left Montana last year, we were already missing her tomato soup and huckleberry bread pudding!

Tonight is our Summer Solstice Celebration and Bonfire!

Day 4, June 22, 2026

  • Check-out from Tobacco River Ranch is 10am. Please make sure you are fully packed and exiting the property on or before that time.

We are sad to see everyone go, but our hearts are SO full from the weekend we have spent together. We hope you have had an amazing time at our first (hopefully of many) Summer Camp.

Before you book, READ CAREFULLY through the following steps!

***Please note when booking that this trip does not follow our usual Cancellation Policy found in our Terms of Service. This trip, and all activities and classes booked, are non-refundable and non-transferable at the time of registration.

STEP 1: Choose Sleep Option

We have various options of basic cabins, Ready Set CAMP, Vanlife, or BYOT (Bring Your Own Tent + Gear). Please read through all the options carefully when booking. If you are planning on sharing accommodations with a friend (whether it’s a cabin, Vanlife, or BYOT), please share the details when booking. If you are booking a cabin with a friend, you MUST select the “Double Occupancy Add-On For Cabins Only” at checkout. Your friend will be emailed a separate booking link to pay for their spot and choose their classes. If you are sharing a tent in the BYOT or vehicle in the Vanlife area, you just book one of the same spots and note who you are sharing with at checkout. There is not an extra add-on.

STEP 2: Select Transportation if needed

The Available Options section starts with Group Transportation from FCA Airport. There is another option on the last day (Sunday) to book transportation back to the airport. If you need round-trip transportation, you will need to select both the Thursday transportation AND Sunday transportation. Specific details regarding pick-up and drop-off times will be shared at a later date. Please do not book flights until the transportation times have been confirmed with you.

STEP 3: Build your class/activities schedule

There are MANY class and activity options available! Classes and activities range in cost and group size. Classes and activities are on Saturday and Sunday only. Each guest can choose up to 3 classes/activities per day maximum. BE SURE TO ONLY BOOK ONE CLASS PER TIME BLOCK! If you select more than that, we reserve the right to cancel one or more of your classes. There is no minimum number of classes/activities you need to choose, meaning you do not have to book any classes/activities and can choose to sit by the river the entire time, hike around the property, float in the river or explore the town of Eureka! There will be group activities outside of the class/activity schedule that you do not need to reserve since they are open to the entire group (river float, bonfire, live music etc.). These will be listed in the schedule above, but not added as an option to book. Some classes/activities have limited spots so please be mindful of the classes you choose and know you are fully committed to attending before booking.
