Known as one of the best places to experience the true beauty of fall, this weekend has a little bit of everything to offer. Enjoy the small town vibes of Stowe, learn about the history on a evening walk and guided lantern tour, explore the outdoors and soar through the fall colors, indulge in delicious treats, and make new friends along the way!
ITINERARY

Welcome to the stunning New England town of Stowe, Vermont, home of the best fall show in the US.
We’ll meet at our cozy accommodations nestled among tall trees in the perfect location near Stowe.
Check in anytime after 5:00 p.m. When you arrive take time to settle in. We’ll get to know our fellow trip mates and enjoy some hors d'oeuvres for a relaxing evening.

Enjoy a warm cup of coffee as your breakfast is prepared for you. We’ll pack a lunch and head out for today’s adventure.
We will make our way to Stowe Mountain Resort located at the base of the tallest peak in Vermont, Mt. Mansfield to enjoy a scenic gondola ride to the top to bask in beautiful 360 degree views. We’ll enjoy lunch here and some free time to explore or treat yourself to a cocktail at the Cliff Restaurant.
Take the gondola back down and enjoy the afternoon exploring town, hiking nearby trails, or relaxing back at the house; it’s your adventure so you choose!
In the evening we will enjoy time back at the home, play boardgames or enjoy a warm drink on the deck.

We’ll enjoy a slow morning with a book and cup of fresh brewed coffee as your breakfast is prepared for you.
Today we will head into town to enjoy a 5+ mile bike ride along the Stowe Recreation Path. Before we leave, we will pack snacks or a light lunch to enjoy at one of the stops we make along the way.
After retuning our bikes, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to wander through shops, visit a local apple orchard - we recommend Cold Hollow Cider Mill for a sip of fresh cider, explore a museum, and enjoy dinner out at a local restaurant or brewery.
Tonight we will meet back together as a group at 7:45 p.m. for a special treat as we learn all about the area’s legendary ghost stories and history of Stowe on a guided lantern tour.

Start the morning off right with that warm cup of coffee and enjoy the crisp fall air before a full day adventuring among the beautiful fall colors!
We will drive to Smugglers Notch where our adventure will take us to new heights! We will zip line through the stunning fall colors of Vermont on a guided tour.
Enjoy the rest of the day as you wish. Grab lunch at a local establishment, take a walk on the nearby Stowe Recreation Path, visit the Moss Glen waterfall or enjoy a scenic drive like the Green Mountain Byway or Auto Toll Road.
Tonight your trip host will make a reservation to enjoy dinner out together. Dinner is on your own.

After breakfast, it is time to pack up and head home. Check out time is 10:00 a.m. but that doesn’t mean your adventure has to end!
We encourage you to explore more of this magical area before or on your way back home. PS - The Stowe Farmer’s Market is on Sunday morning. If you need any additional recommendations on local places to explore, please let us know.

We will be staying in an 4 bedroom and 3.5 bathroom home located outside of Stowe, Vermont. The home has a double sided fire place and a game room for your enjoyment. There is a deck offering great foliage views in the fall to enjoy with your morning coffee.

Meals as noted in the itinerary. If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, please share them at the time of booking or reach out to your trip host separately. We always do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions but cannot make any guarantees.

This trip requires a minimum number of ladies to register in order for it to be confirmed. Once the trip reaches the minimum participant number, you will receive a trip confirmation email and a link to be added a private WhatsApp group just for trip guests. In this group further trip details will be provided along with pre-travel support.

All deposits are non-refundable at the time of booking, but may be transferable if done so within the timeframe outlined in the Terms of Service.
Once a trip has been confirmed (no matter the booking or trip timeline), the deposit is both non-refundable and non-transferable. Women Who Explore guests will be required to follow the local Covid-19 guidelines and requirements as set forth by the local governing body of the destination being visited.

Travel (and medical) insurance is required for anyone traveling on a Women Who Explore adventure. Your insurance should include adequate protection for overseas medical treatment, evacuation/repatriation, your baggage and equipment and the specific activities involved on your adventure. Your insurance policy should also include specific Covid-19 cover, including cancellation and curtailment cover if you or a close relative are diagnosed with Covid-19.
